"At Pétrus he proved himself in the kitchen, retaining our two Michelin stars while he was there.

At Launceston Place Tristan serves the most amazing house-smoked salmon. The flavor of such a simple dish is incredible. Another of my favorites is the rice pudding soufflé with raspberry ripple ice cream."    - Gordon Ramsay

"Launceston Place which I love for the caviar and mackerel mousse, the basis was French but with English taste. This restaurant I feel, deserves greater Michelin recognition." - Alan Ducasse

"Tristan Welch used to work for me at City Rhodes and he had brilliant potential, which he has fulfilled at Launceston Place." - Gary Rhodes
